本校姊妹校高知大學(Kochi University)申請Japan Science and Technology Agency之「Sakura Science Plan」，邀請本校推薦2位候選人參與，並以英文發表研究領域相關主題。相關資訊如下，詳情請參考附件。敬請協助轉知所屬學生踴躍報名。
一、簡介：
Sakura Science Plan, devised by Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), aims to introduce students or staffs the science in Kochi and in Japan, and help participants know about the research fields and facilities to study Kuroshio Science.
二、暫定日程
October 12: Arrive at Kochi-Ryoma Airport
October 13: Orientation: Lectures on Kuroshio Science, visiting labs in Asakura Campus
October 14: Visiting Science Research Center in Okoh Campus and Center for Advanced Marine Core Research in Monobe Campus
October 15: Usa Institute of Marine Biology and Tosa Bay Cruise
October 16: Wrap up Meeting at Kochi University & visit Makino Botanical Garden
October 17: Fly to Tokyo
October 18: Visit National Museum of Science
October 19: Fly to Home.
三、申請人須符合以下資格：
1. Who has never been to Japan to visit research institution.
2. Who has a master degree or has a plan to take a master degree within two years. The fourth grade college students are included.
3. Who has a future plan to study subjects related to Kuroshio Science. Please find the attachment for the definition of Kuroshio Science.
4. Please send brief C.V. and Abstracts of 500 words about your future plan to study in relation to the Kuroshio region.
5. Who is under 30 years old at the end of this September.
6.對下列任一研究領域有興趣，且願意以英文發表相關主題
(1)Studies of coastal resources and environmental management
(2)Economic study of the regional environment including Ecotourism
(3)Studies on algae, fish, plankton, benthos, coral cells, viruses, etc. in the ocean
ecosystem
(4) Studies of food science & nutrition
(5) Studies of environment & health science
四、名額：本校提名2位候選人，由高知大學審查決定1-2名參與人選。如報名人數超過限額，國際處將依報名文件甄選。
五、若姊妹校申請此計畫通過，參與人員可獲得日方提供之補助項目：台灣-日本往返機票、在日期間食宿。
六、符合上述資格且有意參與者，請於2015年6月12(五)12:00前線上報名，逾期恕不受理。報名所需文件包含英文論文摘要500字、英文履歷。報名網址:
